BUNCO!

Tonight was our neighborhood Bunco. I "heart" Bunco. I play with the neighborhood ladies and, also, with a group of ladies from Troy's school. Troy loves to say that I play in two "leagues"! Both groups of ladies are a hoot to be around! My great friend, Lisa, was the hostess tonight which was great. She is an awesome hostess, designer and friend!

I was the biggest loser tonight!
I won this sign which I absolutely love.
Thanks, Lisa!

So, true ...

A Night Out

Troy and I went to his school's holiday party tonight. The food was delicious and it was nice to be out alone. (Well, with the entire faculty and staff of LES, but alone in the sense that there were no children there!) Makenzie stayed home and babysat Mitchell and this little cutie pie.

New Year Organizing Gone Wild!

Ya think this is over the top? It is honestly just an attempt to keep my wash clothes in MY bathroom and the kid's wash clothes in THEIR bathroom.

Just thinking ...

Proverbs 21:9 - Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.

Proverbs 21:19 - Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and ill-tempered wife.

Proverbs 27:15 - A quarrelsome wife is like a constant dripping on a rainy day.

17 down... 6 to go!

Happy New Year and 1 day!
I was super busy yesterday taking down my Christmas trees. Isn't it amazing how fast they come down, if only I could put up 17 in one day! I plan to take down the outside wreaths today, and tidy up a little. I am going to leave the dining room tree up a little longer. It is a "new" tree this year and I want to look at it a little longer! I am sad that the break is coming to an end, but so thankful for the time to rest and enjoy my family.

Good- bye office tree ....

So long living room tree ...

Farewell kitchen tree ...

both of you ...

See ya real soon, Marshall's tree ...

I won't forget you Mitchell's tree ...

I'll think of you often ...

Be safe, our bedroom tree ...

Until we meet again, entry tree!
